God is the unity (tribune) of Father, Son and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. The Sinfulness Of People are made in the image of God and for fellowship with Him. Christ’s Atonement For Sin In order to redeem everyone from the guilt, penalty and power of sin, Jesus Christ became man and died a sacrificial end with His shed blood as a substitute for us. By His triumphal resurrection, God’s acceptance of His atoning end was demonstrated. The Holy Spirit convinces sinners of their sinfulness, leads them to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and so brings them to spiritual beginning as God’s children and to fellowship in Christ. Active within the life of believers, the Holy Spirit makes authentic the presence of Christ, witnesses to their relationship with God, leads into all truth, bestows gifts for effective ministry and produces virtues for holy living. The Church is the body of people whom God has set apart by faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to be in the world but not of the world. All believers are called to be priests, recognizing only one mediator between them and God the Father, and that is God the Son, Jesus Christ. At that time Jesus Christ will judge every person and each will receive reward or punishment according to his or her deeds. Joel desires to precede and encourage a loving church where people feel welcomed and valued. Terry commenced ministry at CBC in 2016 and brings experience as a pastor and church planter with a background in media, marketing and management. Lisa has perpetual had a special heart for children and a passion to support families. Through this position Lisa would like to walk beside the children and their families as they grew and flourish in their faith. She wants the entire church to love and nurture families. She and her team of leaders are committed to making Sunday morning kids church a genuine highlight in every child’s week. She can see many other opportunities for outreach to families within the community. She enjoys family time, entertaining friends, and sewing. She uses her gifts in administration to aid the Pastoral staff, ministries as well as the church family. Sue enjoys her administrative position as it complements her role as Church Secretary and Deacon. Outside the office, Sue enjoys reading, good coffee, spending time with family and friends and transient (which she hopes to do more of soon!). As a community of people, we love to celebrate the Christian life. It brings us together to express our appreciation to and love for God. We love children, and maximum mornings we have a short activity in the service prior they move to their particular activities with their friends. Reading the Bible is one of the ways God talks to us.
