A design is drawn up, from this the specially selected art glass is cut, ground and assembled within lead came to create the completed picture pattern. All art glass is imported, mostly from USA and a little quantity from Europe. This technique uses art glass to create not only panels but 3 dimensional shapes such as lampshades. Following the desired pattern the glass is cut, ground, wrapped in copper and soldered together. The use of a kiln allows for the manipulation of the glass to create the desired shape and design.
